Built by hand just like any other Viks, the Carbon edition comes in a lightweight package that retains the original look even though it's considerably lighter. It was built for the second birthday of Viks and is aimed at riders who want to ride the most refined machines available.
These bikes are made by order only, please contact us to reserve yours. You can choose between a fixed gear version like the one here, or a disc brake equipped one. This is the final price and includes all expenses, including VAT and shipping.
The Build
To make this possible, Viks paired with Slovenian company Berk Composites, a master of turning carbon fiber into the best parts possible. The bike maintains its original shape and design, staying loyal to the flowing design of the bike. All of the joints and other elements that keep the bike together have been built out of the usual stainless steel to make sure it lasts a lifetime. Despite weighing less, the Viks Carbon offers improved performance while maintaining an impressive strength/weight ratio. The bike comes with a fixed great by default, but disc brakes can be installed by preference.
Bits and Pieces
The Carbon edition of the Viks bike comes upgraded with a matching set of high-performance and lightweight parts to ensure a minimal weight of only 10.5 kg. It is equipped with a set of Encore 5-spoke fixed gear wheels that can be converted to disc brakes as well by changing wheel hubs. The tires are fast rolling Schwalbe Kojak 35x662 Performance. The BLB Groove seat post holds atop a Brooks England Cambium C13 seat, which can be swapped for similar ones of your choice. All your power is transmitted to the Viks Carbon through the BLB Track crankset, operated by a high-performance Gates Carbon Drive belt drive.
